When you use a Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) driver on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, the computer may stop responding. This issue may occur if one or more of the following conditions are true:
You repeatedly open and then close a window.
You move a Windows Media Player window.
You extend the display to an additional monitor.
