using just 2 anti-aliasing samples and enhance them via Nvidia control Panel gives you better image quality than 16 in-game anti-aliasing samples, because 16 in-game samples make the picture look blurry.
I’ve made 3 cfg fies. the first one is a cfg file which made by copying another cfg file, changing it’s name and it’s content.
The second one is the the same but with “.cfg” in the end (both files recognized as cfg files by my win).
The third one is a normal txt file which was renamed to rageconfig.cfg.
None of them work !! any idea what I should do?
copy the generated code and put it into a new text file named “rageconfig.cfg” in these locations:
For Single-Player – “*your install location*\rage\base\”
For Multi-Player – “*your install location*\rage\mp\base\”
only cfg it will accept (autoload) is rageconfig.cfg make sure it’s really saved as rageconfig.cfg and not rageconfig.cfg.txt or something similar.

Thanks for the quick reply.
The file is in the right place and has the right name, I’ve just made another 3 copies to make sure, It’s still not working.
Something that does work is the add-ons on the shortcut, weird, Only if I had more space there for the whole code…
I’m with win 7 64, maybe it’s related somehow..

You’re doing something wrong then as I’m running Win7 64bit professional as well and it’s all working fine for me.
#1 trow away all your config files
#2 start a game with the “+com_safemode 1″ command
#3 see if the game works
#4 make a new CFG file here on the site and save it as rageconfig.cfg
#5 place the CFG file in:
“*your install location*\rage\base\”
and
“*your install location*\rage\mp\base\”
#6 start a new game with “com_allowConsole 1″ command
#7 open your console with ~ and type “exec ragecnfig.cfg
If it doesn’t EXEC the file, you’re still doing it wrong and probably aren’t saving the file in the right CFG format
My tools, website, modded-drivers and the support for them are free. If you like my work and could miss a dollar (or a few), I would be much appreciated!
