EA Origin is a nice program there are some things that do bother me (and many others). Uninstalled games, demo’s and teasers are not always removed from the program.
 
Below you will find a list of games and their EA Origin “gameID”s you will also find a handy description of how to get rid of games you have uninstalled but still appear in the list
 
Browse to “*:\ProgramData\Origin” and open up the file InstalledGames.XML the content inside that file will look something like (note spaces have been added because of the markup):

There’s one interesting setting and that is the hidden=”0″, set it to hidden=”1″ and the game you don’t want in the list anymore will be gone.
 

FIX GAMES LIST

Below you will find a list of games and their EA Origin “gameID” this is the ID that indentifies the game inside Origin. This is also the ID we need if you want to hide a geme from the list, or want to add a game that doesn’t apear in the list but you still want to hide. If you want to hide a game that’s not in the list anymore for any kind of reason (happened with the “Sims 3 Teaser” for me) just copy&paste the line of the game you plaid most recently:

and change the gameID

And you’re done, this way any game that is no longer installed on your system but still shows in the EA Orgin games list can be hidden.
