DNA-ATi 10.7a.1

DNA-ATi 10.7a.1

Version info:

  • Initial release of the new DNA-ATi drivers.
  • DNA-ATi 10.7a.1 (10.7a catalyst | 1st DNA build).
  • ATI CrossFireX™ Application Profiles (10.7 – July 26th)
  • ReadyDriverPlus v1.2 (can be found in the “\Packages\Apps\DNA-ATi-RDP\” folder in the download package).

What’s new:

  • DNA-ATi (batch) menu. This menu will help to Uninstall and Install the drivers (follow on screen instructions).
  • DNA-ATi naming scheme. The naming scheme has been changed: 10.7a(ATI Catalyst release) .1(DNA-ATi driver build) .32/.64(DNA-ATi x32 or x64). I hope this will make it more easy for everybody to find the latest and up to date DNA-ATi drivers
  • Updated install. The install of the DNA-ATi drivers will be fully automatic (except for the driver unsigned pop-up) and will reboot your PC after install.
  • Updated uninstall. The uninstall of the DNA-ATi drivers (and any other ATi driver installed) will be fully automatic and will reboot your PC after uninstall.
  • Updated 3rd party support. The DNA-ATi drivers come with enhanced 3rd party Desktop and Mobility support.
  • Updated tweakbase. The DNA-ATi drivers come with a tweak base for all DirectX 9/10/11 compatible gfx-cards including the mobility and igp range. This tweakbase will be enhanced and updated as needed with future releases.

Whats next:

  • Due to time constrictions and some changes in my personal life (I have changed job/ sick girlfriend) the CCC/WDM/CIM are not updated with the 3rd party support. I hope to incoprporate that in the next DNA-ATi 10.7a.2(.32/.64) drivers. If you have any problems installing the drivers (be sure to use the DNA-ATi menu) please don’t hesitate to ask for support.

Good Job! (Sorry i STILL can’t test it. No Newish card)

In the beginning, i wasn’t sure if you want to work on legacy drivers anymore, so i edited your driver based on enzyme legacy 1.1 and fixed whatever was causing my computer to freeze. (i also added a better than yours {sorry!} bat made in exe). Maybe you want my version and just leave it here becuase its NEVER going to recieve a new update?

I will be making some new drivers real soon (this weekend) Hi Blue (and thanks for visiting the site)

I can make a full fledged exe installer again if needed but i still think a batch script is a simple and good way to go (unless people want some nice gfx / logo’s and everything that comes with it including extra KB’s or even MB’s to the over all size of the package.)

The legacy versions are pretty much alive and already has an updated version on my HDD, I just didn’t think there would be that much “need” for it to be honest. So you can expect an update for it in the coming days (yeah i know you have heard that before and you’re probably not the only one. It’s just that the last couple of months, or in fact years have been real hectic and changing for me.)

I will also try to get the DNA-nVidia drivers ready for the weekend.

    Hi,
how do I know that I’m using the DNA driver and not longer the normal ATI?
I had a few problems with the installation
(the uninstallation didn’t worked properly so i had to remove everything by myself and i got a few error messages, so it took me nearly 3 hours to get so far, also i had to install newer version of .NetFramework) but now i think its working but i don’t know if I’m using the DNA oder the ATI.
    Driver Date: 21.07.2009
    Driver Version: 8.593.100.0
Windows says the Driver is from ATI Technologies Inc.
    I’m using Windows 7 Prof. 64Bit
My Card is a Sapphire Radeon X1950pro
So even if had problems (which are not because an error with your software, more i think it occured mostly because of a problem based on my computer) I want to thank you for your work! I don’t want that this sounds like criticism because i know you worked hard ^^

    Hi Raptor,

Not sure if your using the one on this page (becuase if you are it won’t work) and i’m pretty sure your not using the one i made which does have a link on cell-systems. Right now it seems like you are using the normal ATI (the version i made has a different date, not your date)

Well, here is my critique. Since I’m an MMO Player, I can tell you they are very efficient. I have smooth playing even at almost all Max, and with only one GPU active (thanks ATI, I really hope they fix their mess). Champions is the most demanding and I really go below 35 FPS in a battle.
The installer. At the end it opens up my browser right before the Auto-shutdown. That’s for both un-install and install.

    Thanks
    DL :-)

So i know there will be some angry faces around here now? But I have to delay the drivers one more day.

Maybe some of you have noticed the changes on http://cell-systems.net if not please visit it and see how it has changed.

Sorry for the delay, but cell-systems.net had to be changed and finished. It’s 23:48 here now and we just finished working on the new site.

Thanks I’m glad you like the site as allot of custom code has gone into it and it’s still not finished (great new features are planned)

I’m working on the drivers now (DNA-ATi and DNA-ATi Legacy)

Hi Roman. I will be releasing a update soon, i know i have been telling you guys for some days now but cell-systems.net and it’s network sites are taking allot of my free time.

Ill not give any release dates anymore as time and time again they bite me in the ass. All i can say is that I’m working on an update for 10.7.1 and that i’m also working on new legacy drivers.

Dirt2 never worked good for me, i have the game for several months now and i can not even start the game without it crashing on me :(

Hi @ all the new DNA-ATi 10.8.1.64 and 10.8.1.32 drivers are ready. Later today (just got home) ill start (re)working the Nucleic(xp) and Legacy drivers(vista/win7) and release them all together during the weekend.

Thanks for the kind words “mohsentux” I’m getting back on track now. As I’m getting used to the working times i have now (standing up @ 5:45 just isn’t my thing)

And i might get a normal IT/Desk job during the next few weeks but thats still in the early stages at this moment (more on that during the next few weeks I hope).
