The successor to 3G / LTE or LTE Advanced (4G) is said to be installed in stores already. It has been known for quite some time that a new I-Phone supporting the LTE standard has been circulating around and being tested. It would make sense as 3G has been doing it’s job for quite some time now
Here’s something unexpected: An Engadget tipster claims Apple’s installing LTE equipment in its stores. The gear was allegedly installed by AT&T, and only supports the 700MHz and AWS bands, which will fall in AT&T’s LTE network if the T-Mobile merger goes through.
